We take great pride in our Shorty Jack Russell Terriers and in the health, happiness, and quality of our puppies and adults.
Precautionary measures are taken so that you will receive a happy and healthy puppy.
Your puppy's first trip to the vet is between 3 and 5 days for tipping of tails and dew claws removal. The puppies are also
examined at that time by our veterinarian. Our puppies are seen again for a check-up visit at 8 weeks of age. Before you
receive your puppy, they are seen by our veterinarian for a check of their fecal, eyes, ears, bite, patellas, and testicles
(males). Your puppy is also on a deworming schedule that was started when he/she was 2 weeks of age. Before your puppy
arrives, they will also have had 2 vaccinations.
However, in the event that your English Jack Russell Terrier is diagnosed with a debilitating congenital defect during his/her
lifetime, we will be happy to refund your purchase amount. Shipping and vet bills incurred by purchaser are not included in the
refund, only the original purchase price. In the event that a serious genetic defect is found, the buyer must provide a letter
stating the genetic disorder from a licensed veterinarian, and documented vet records. I will also make a follow-up phone call
to speak with the veterinarian about this health issue as I am concerned with not passing on such defects.
We ask that if conditions arise that are minor, correctable conditions, or a condition that the puppy will mature out of, that you
contact us to let us know of these, we need to know even of minor instances.
After delivery, we cannot accept liability for your puppy or accept responsibility for contagious diseases diagnosed after 3
days from your puppy's arrival. We recommend that you take your new puppy to your vet within 72 hours of his or her arrival
to ensure your new puppy from Dixie Rose Russells is healthy.
We cannot GUARANTEE the exact height, weight, coat type, ear set, or conformation of a puppy when they are mature. We can only estimate by their current size, conformation, and coat, and by the conformation and size of their parents.
We can and do guarantee that your puppy has been given provided with love, attention, and great care. We have also provided them with a healthy start in life and we will expect you to help them remain healthy.
~Please note that our guarantee does not cover owner negligence.~ Such as, but not limited to: Improper Diet Lack of Veterinary Care Accidents or Lack of Supervision Lack of Care by the Owner
